Welome

Here I would send out information to the parent's about the beginning of the school year and all to expect for the upcoming year.  I would be able to post daily assignments, what happened in school that day and other information parents may need to see.  What I love about a teacher/classroom blog is that if I am teaching younger group of students that it gives me a way to communicate with parents without having to send home emails or make phone calls, if a student missed class I can post assignments give a rundown of what happened or even upload permission slips, work sheets, newsletters, classroom photos etc.  The possibilities are endless.  Also, blogging gives parents the ability to respond to posts ask questions and collaborate as well. I would want to be able to create a friendly welcoming classroom environment and be able to transfer that to the blog as well, so that parents who may not be able to participate in the classroom would also have to opportunity to still be involved and help out through the daily posts on the blog.
