Today in religeon class we talked about Matthew 18:1-14.  We disussed how God loves everyone, even the little children.  God said that we are all like children and that he loves us all.  we talked about times when kids can be naughty, or dirty, or messy, but God loves them anyway.  We went on to talk about what Christ said in verses 6-7 about stumbling, we talked about ways that we could lift up our neighbor and help them instead of letting them fall to sin.  Christ said whoever welocomes one child in his name welcomes him, the class thought of ways we could help a friend in need, and we discussed why that was serving Jesus. 

This is a great story, and I'm sure your student will be excited to share it with you at home too.
